Ashley performed the role of Jessica Finch, a character in the comedy Judy Moody's Not Bummer Summer in 2011. She gained fame in 2012 for the voice for several rats and bears in the animated film Ernest & Celestine which starred Forest Whitaker Lambert Wilson Pauline Brunner. The film follows the friendship Ernest the bear has with Celestine the mouse. The movie won 14 awards out of the 29 nominations it received, including an Oscar.
